知识社会视野的大学

摘 要：知识社会是一个知识高度丰富、知识价值大大提高了的社会。在知识社会中，随着知识生产模式的转型，大学将不再是唯一的，甚至也不再是主要的知识机构。为了适应这种新情境，现代大学要么转型，要么被淘汰。知识社会中大学需要更新自己的理念与制度，重构组织边界，精简组织功能，争取未来能在与其他知识机构的竞争中“反败为胜”。

Universities in the Perspective of Knowledge Society

Abstract: Knowledge society, in which knowledge is greatly valued, is knowledge –intensive. With the transformation of the pattern in knowledge production, universities will not be the only or even the mainly institution for knowledge production. Facing the new trend, university should take actions to transform, otherwise it will be eliminated. Under the background of knowledge society, university should update its concept as well as its institution, reorganize its boundary and simplify its function to win in the competition with other institutions for knowledge production.
